Willy's Redneck of the Month Award!

This award goes to a golfer this month. However, not the original redneck golfer John Daly that Willy has honored before. The award this month goes to Tripp Isenhour a pro golfer out of Florida.

While trying to film a segment of his Television show "Shoot Like A Pro" a protected hawk kept squawking to the irritation of the film crew and messing up several takes.

Tripp and the crew supposedly tried shaking the trees and throwing things into the trees to get the hawk to fly away. When he did not leave, Tripp began hitting golf balls at the bird unsuccessfully.

The bird then moved to a closer tree. Tripp supposedly said " I'll get him now". Took a great golf swing and nailed the bird dead.

The humane society is recommending that Pro Golf Association make an example out of Tripp.

The 39-year-old golfer, whose real name is John Henry Isenhour III, was charged Wednesday with cruelty to animals and killing a migratory bird.

The charges carry a maximum penalty of 14 months in jail and $1,500 in fines.
