Teachers Letter Nails Obama

Willy passes on another one - Willy wishes he could write like this. - People express Willy's thoughts so well - Check this one out. 10-4 Willy

Here's an excellent letter to the President. The school teacher really
nailed him. How many millions of Americans across this Country think
exactly what this school teacher has put in this email. It is
frightening that every single day something surfaces that has been
signed as a "Presidential order", or suddenly just appears as law! WHO
does this stuff, while we're all sleeping at night? This first 100
days have been the most destructive period of time in our Nation's
history - - - and we don't even know the half of it!

(FYI - I looked it up. This person does exist in this school - Missouri

Mr. Obama:
I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct on
your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an adequate
representative of the United States of America collectively or of me
personally.

You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world
that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the
United States of America . You are responsible to the citizens of the
United States . You are not responsible to the peoples of any other
country on earth.

I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the
United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care
about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First World
War and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of
the peoples of Europe ? Are you brain dead? What do you think the
Marshal l Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history
of the 20th century?

Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States
does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the
Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States ?
This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles
governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly
from this heritage. Do you not understand this?

Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans.
Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi
Arabia . You didn't show Great Britain , our best and one of our oldest
allies, the respect they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi
Arabia . How dare you, sir! How dare you!

You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation
because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a
mosque in Turkey . You offended our dead and every veteran when you
give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German
people from themselves. What's the matter with you?

I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the
historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed
of yourselves, all of you.

You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the
American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves
in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic,
the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend
to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.

What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to
their staff members on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises
that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got
a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer.
You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely
didn't!

Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million
in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than
the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already
been awarded $51 million; not a bad take. Who authorized that and why
haven't you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely
responsible for the economic mess we have right now.

I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not
caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and
we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you. I also want you to
know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be
offensive to every one of my sensibilities.

I promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a
chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country.

Sincerely,
Every real American

  1. I checked with snopes.com and this letter is authentic, but it's not written by Ms Kathleen Lyday. She admits forwarding this letter, but the real author may or may not be Franklin T. Bell of Columbia, Maryland.

Whoever wrote it I applaud them.

Have a terrific day Willy. :)

  2. Well, Willy, brace yourself. You have some fans who are Liberals. Did you just hit the delete button? :)

I am sure that this letter, no matter who wrote it, is representative a certain segment of our society----but not all of us. While you may maintain that we were founded on Judeo-Christian ideals, I believe that tolerance was also a founding principle.

With so many radical nations having access to nuclear weapons, do you really believe that we should not at least attempt a dialogue with them? The fact is that there are many wonderful people in our country, contributing as citizens, and they happen to be Muslims. Many are aching over what is happening in Iran. They are also fearful over the many distinct possibilities for extinction of ideas and the pervasive fear of mutual annihlation. It seems to me that what Obama has done in developing the "Obama Factor" is to open up hope, even in countries like Iran.

  3. Teacher, you say? Fourth grade? This is how we in the United States think our children should be taught about respect for their national leaders (let alone their elders)?

I hope Ms. Lyday's letter is brought to the attention of her school administrators and that she is properly chastised. We do not need people with minds (or mouths) like this teaching our children.

And people wonder why our children do not know how to behave in public. Really?

  4. askcherlock - Willy has no problem with extending an olive branch to other countries if done so with dignity and respect for our nation. However, when the President does things like bow to their king and make remarks that are negative toward our country just trying to appease the other country, I become offended. The letter puts it well in the fact that he represents us and sometimes it seems that he is against us in his mannerism and defaming remarks.

By the way I am conservative by nature but sometimes see some liberal ways that might be better - but not often.

Len - Willy just simply believes you are off your rocker. Nothing the letter says is as negative as you put it. It is someone voicing there opinion about our leadership. The respect does not go against the office of the President but the acts of the one in charge - and I believe in many cases he is wrong.

Your comments remain - free speech is allowed here as long as it is on topic and does not get ugly. - Just as that teacher has free speech.

  5. WOW ! She must be a teacher at one of those freaky extreme Christian schools. VERY SCARY.

She sounds like more of a terrorist then some of the other "terrorists" that we are "hunting". Maybe we need to be keeping an eye out for extremists in our schools ... they could attack at any time ! HA !

It really is scary what the religious right is becoming.

Thanks for sharing this Willy !

  6. To All: Doh, it's called CHANGE, remember?
and I think Americans don't even need to be represented by anyone, even its President: they can represent themselves very well just as what the letter (or the person wrote it) imply.
I don't remember, though, any school teacher bashing Bush about his bishy-bashy tenure. Maybe if there's any, dear Willy, you should post it as well.
As to for Obama, give that man a break will ya? So much fuss for a simple bow. Geez.

  7. To Sith - Make no bones about it Sith - Bush got Bashed - Presidency wasn't the best in the world - however, if the change you are talking about is the little bit that is left in most people's pocket after they lose their job - you are right it is about change.

And as for a break - Obama got a break - his is President isn't he.-- Now if he would act like he is the President of the People of these Great United States - we would all appreciate it!

  8. Willy is wrong on this wrong. Sorry, Willy. Somehow you think that saying

"I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you."

is not being disrespectful to the office of President of the United States and the person currently holding that office?

I never agreed with most of what George W. Bush and his administration did. I believe they destroyed this country. Literally. I am still very angry about that. But, even with that, I would not stoop to teach a bunch of fourth grade kids the stuff this lady is teaching them. She's wrong. You're wrong. Sorry. (But thanks for the free speech.)

  9. Gotta agree with Len on this one, Willy. Our children should have better values, including respect, instilled in them at home---and in school.

  10. Respect of the office of President is hard to define. Willy highly respects the office of the president and prays for the people there daily.

However, Willy believes that the current people filling that position and many of the positions are morally and intellectually wrong in most of their decisions. Respect for the office does not mean that Willy has to like the people or what they do and sometimes that dislike can come across a little strong.

However, Willy believes that this teacher is showing these students that to stand up for right and good and your beliefs is a good thing. Ok so tone down the name calling - Willy could agree on that - but to voice that their decisions and ideas are totally against what she believes is a great trait that should be taught.

    Sorry if you don't agree.

How come Ms. 4th Grade Teacher didn't have any problem with George Bush kissing the Saudi's and holding their hands-and right after 9-11. President Obama is the best answer to the damage done by the Bush-Cheney Regime. . . he has restored the respect for America by other nations in the world. America is a great country but at times it misses the mark and we need to be grown up enough to admit when we are wrong. (PS If I were the principal of that school I would ask the 4th grade teacher to undergo a mental status examination.)

America - Love it and constructively criticize when it is wrong!
