Come Play Around in Memphis!

Elvis is Memphis and recorded at Sun Records.  This is what I like about Memphis.  It has great diversity. These are the things that I see as I visit the "Come Play Around in Memphis"  website.  This site is very cool looking and it gives great ideas and things to do and see in Memphis.

Also, this site is having contests to give away packages to visit Memphis.  They have several packages to choose from with different interests for different people.  The prize package that I would like to win is the Family package.  Yes this would give me a chance from this Memphis-savvy travel guide to enter to win a trip package that would give me to do many of the things that I would enjoy in Memphis.

What are these things that I would enjoy.  Well, the family package would give me things like a carriage ride through downtown Memphis, a trip to the outstanding Memphis Zoo, a visit to the Pink Palace, or my favorite a meal at the famous BBQ place the Rendezvous.  How can you beat all of that.

What is wrong with this country. The President is playing games while our country plunges deep into WRONG.

If I rob a store it is illegal. If I rob a store, which is illegal, I get put in jail and get punished.

If a person comes into this country without proper authority and documentation it is illegal. If they come it and are illegal then they should do the time or get put out of the country.

Her Diary Vs His Diary - Same Story

HER DIARY:

Dear Diary:

Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird. We had made plans to

meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day

long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but

he made no comment on it.

Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet

so we could talk. He agreed, but he didn't say much. I asked him what

was wrong. He said, 'Nothing.' I asked him if it was my fault that he

was upset. He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me,

and not to worry about it.

On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly, and

kept driving. I can't explain his behavior. I don't know why he didn't

say, 'I love you, too.' When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him

completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat

there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent.

Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15

minutes later, he came to bed. To my surprise, he responded to my

caress, and we made love. But I still felt that he was distracted, and

his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep - I cried. I don't know

what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My

life is a disaster...

John Daly - Willy's Hero!

John Daly has done well today in the British open. Part of the reason that I believe he does well at St Andrews' course is the fact that it is very much like the golf course that he owns at Dardenell Arkansas. His course there is long, flat and rough.

The course is much like John himself. A little rough but fairly good. John is a rednecks man. John was seen to day drinking his DR. Pepper and smoking his cigarette.

John was wearing his LoudMouth Pants and looking good. John is a rebel and looks like one.

John is almost as popular as Tiger Woods when he is on the course.

John is Willy's Hero.

Ok.  Willy has several vehicles and one of the things that I am always looking for is a way to get cheap auto insurance in Texas.  Now how to get the best auto insurance cheap is the next question.  Willy is always hearing great advertisements on television but Willy does not want to pick up the phone and call so it a whole lot easier to get online and check this out with comparisons and online shopping.

Montana Bear Tragedy - Democrat?

This is a very sad story about a bear. Everybody should heed the warning to not feed wildlife because they become dependent and cannot forage for themselves anymore.

This is such a tragedy to see what they have done to our country's wildlife! The photo below captures a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect US wildlife . 

Animals that were formerly self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Democrat Party..... as they have apparently learned to just sit and wait for the government to step in and provide for their care and sustenance.

Willy wonders - is the End Near?

Willy is not a great Bible Scholar but is a great Bible Believer. In a study of Revelations - the end times it makes several statements that toward the end their will be times when things get worse than they have ever been before.
Willy is sitting hear this morning listening to the news. The things that stick in Willy's mind

• Heat wave is coming over the nation - Probably the worst in history.
• Oil Spill is worse ever - not a natural disaster - but a disaster that affects many
• There are more earthquakes than ever before - even small little quakes in Arkansas that are coming more often than anyone would imagine.
• Katrina in recent past - one of worst ever.
• War - Killing more than ever before
• Violence world wide - worst than ever before
• Financial crisis - worse in many years
• Unemployment and poverty - worst ever

 Willy believes every day the end is nearer.   Willy wonders how many are right with their Maker.  Willy hopes all of his loved ones are right with God.  This is important to not be left behind to deal with the tribulation that might come.  

Willy is not a doomsday prophet.  Willy is just being real and concerned about everyone.

Willy Says get the Oil Leak Fixed

Willy is tired of the fact that BP, the President, and all of the Worlds Smart Guys can't figure out how to stop a 10 inch pipe from leaking in the Gulf.  Well, Willy decided to check down at Juanita's Road Kill Bar and Cantina and see what the Rednecks down there might have to say.

Here are some of the comments and solutions:

• Billy Bob Horton - What year was it that the U.S. sent a man to the moon and back.  - That was pretty smart - Where are the people that thought that up.
• Angie Joe Lena - Why not send the President down there and use his ears as an oil skimmer - big enough to do the job - and might look like he is doing something besides playing golf with Joe "Mouth" Biden
• Sammy Joe - lets send Al Gore down - he can grope it shut or if not - it has been so long since he put a lip lock on Tipper that he can't plant a lip lock on it and close it shut.
• Jimmy Joe Williams - we can send the Democratic side of Congress - and especially Nancy Pelosi down to the gulf and let them remove the oil - should be a good method because they Suck big time.

Seriously now folks - I had to shut them down before this got nasty - give me one good redneck idea to shut this thing down.

Billy Bob Horton - a great and simple minded redneck said - Uhh - why not just start dropping a pipe down that is larger than the one that is there.  Keep putting joints on it until it reaches over the pipe down there to the service.  Seal it over below that pipe.  Now you have created a funnel pipe over this that goes from down there to surface.  All of the oil comes directly to the surface where it can be loaded on a boat or something.

Sounds to simple enough a Redneck could do it!

Willy - Too Hot to Mow!

Willy is getting old and lazy and really enjoys the air conditioning very much.  Willy is needing to mow the lawn very bad.  It is getting out of hand.  However, Willy uses the theory that every time you mow when it it hot and dry you are stressing the grass even more.

If you stress the gas more than it gets to looking worse than it did prior to mowing. 

So therefore you mow less and stay in the house where it is cool and blog about how hot and dry it is.

Guess I need to mow tomorrow.
