Slow Posting Willy - It Spring time

Willy is already discovering that as he grows older the outsided chores of mowing lawn and all of that sort of stuff does two things. It seems to take longer and it seems to make Willy more tired than it used to.

Willy does not like getting older.

This also takes away from the posting time. Willy is finding that it is harder and harder each day to keep up with the "Hillbilly Willy Productions" which includes four blogs.

Well, Willy is going to slow down and do what he can, but Willy aint giving up a little couch time in the evening, flipping the remote.

Unlimited Business Cards

What would Hillbilly Willy do with an unlimited supply of business cards you ask. Well the first thing Willy would do is to advertise for the Possum Grit, Road Kill, Grill and Cantina. How many points do you think Willy would get to have all kinds of cards passed out with Juanita the Waitress's picture on the card. This would be big time for Willy.

Willy might even go big time and run for political office. Willy would make a great Constable. Guess I should ask my preacher first.

There is nothing more fun than to visit a beautiful area. What is more fun is to visit a beautiful area that is in the state of Texas. You see, I live in Arkansas but I am from Texas. When you are from Texas you may love somewhere else but Texas is your home. Understand what I mean. Entrecard - Does it Work?

As stated in an earlier blog, I have joined Entrecard.com. It allows you to place a business card and to trade ads depending on the credits you have gained by dropping cards or allowing someone to advertise on your site.

So far, I find that it does build traffic, but is anyone looking at anything. I just go - click - and go again. I do occasionally run into a stite I find interesting.

So guess it has value.

Thank You Cards - What are you thankful for?

Thank you Cards are important. Individuals should always acknowledge gifts and special actions by others by sending out a special thank you card.

In business a Thank You Card sent out to that new customer, that special referral or that other business that did something that created you new business is a great idea. These special personal touches, acknowledged on a Thank You Card with a short handwritten note will bring back repeat customers. This is what business is about.

But people can see through an unsincere thank you. That is why the simple card above is the one that I like. It presents clearly the idea but it takes nothing away from the short note that I might write inside.

Thank you is the best two words in the english language. Don't hesitate to use them in a great thank you card.

Hillbilly Willy Productions

Willy is trying hard to develop his other blogs. Hillbilly Willy - Fun, Food and Politics was Willy's first blog. Willy posted his first blog post on 9/12/06 on this blog. This has since involved into three other regularly maintained posts. (and that turns into work).

The second Blog that came along was Life in America (originally Agriculture in America). Had a great idea for a farm/agriculture theme and that soon went by the wayside and it was just easier to make the theme Life in America -- that could be just about anything.

Then came Arkansas a Great Place to Live. This has pretty much a generic theme but I try to keep it somewhat involving around Arkansas. This is where Willy likes to express his views on the avid Arkansas Razorback fanes etc. Willy has recently on this one started a series of "What the Cell Phone Sees" This is simply a picture a day from the cell phone of Willy. Many have a cell phone now that takes pictures and therefore Willy decided to incorporate the blog where people take great pictures with a digital camera - clean them up and post them - down to here is what my cell phone saw today. Nothing dramatic, but maybe some days it will be interesting.

The last of Willy's maintained blogs is Cooking it Up with Willy - mostly real cooking - but with Willy there are lots of things that could be cooked up.

Hope some one is occassionally looking because even though Willy is trying to make enough money by advertising on these blogs -- Willy sometimes has something to say.
