Willy wants 2010 Homebuyer Tax Credits

Willy wishes he were in a position to take advantage of the home buyer tax credit opportunities that are available this year. Yes, these credits are something that sure would make a difference in Willy's financial future if he could use them.

What are these home buyer tax credit opportunities. Well let Willy tell you some of the details.

The federal government had given income tax credit for home buyers last year and this has been extended and expanded to now include homeowners who wish to "move on" after 5 years of living in their current property, as well as first-time homebuyers. The bullet details are as follows:

• First-time homebuyers, or those who have not owned in the last three years, can receive up to an $8,000 tax credit
• Homeowners who have lived in a current home consecutively for 5 of the past 8 years can receive up to a $6,500 tax credit
• You should act and have a written, binding contract by April 30, 2010 (close by June 30, 2010)
• Income limits are now $125,000 for singles, $225,000 for married couples with a $20,000 phase-out of the credit for both.

Willy also found out that according to The National Association of Realtors News Release, dated 11/5/09, there is an estimated $22 billion which has already been added to the general economy resulting from the bill and approximately 2 million people will utilize the tax credit in 2009.

Willy is just like everyone else this time of the year. Yes, it is March Madness time and it is time for Willy to fill out the NCAA Bracket.

How does Willy do it. Does Willy take a dart and throw at it. Does Willy study Sports Center and get their awesome low down on each and every team. No! Willy uses the tobacco method.

Willy spits at the bracket and the teams that Willy can still see that look like they are not all messed up gets Willy's nod.

Willy Rocks with Tony's Pizza!

Willy took the morning off from Church today and set in his easy chair reading the newspapers and listening to the rhetoric on TV about the political news of the day.

What Willy found from all of this is that if Willy wasn't pretty well grounded in what he knows that Willy would be confused entirely.

Willy is Fair to President Barack Hussein Obama

Willy does not particularly like President Barack Hussein Obama, but Willy tries to be fair. Below is a quote that is floating through email and across the internet that is attributed to Mr. President about Veteran's health care.

"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute.." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, "Obama continued "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the
selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."

Willy checked it out and it is not exactly what Mr. President said. Willy does not think what he really said was any smarter but it was not quite as inciteful.

Politics have Started - Willy is Sad

The filing time has come and all of the Political want a be's have come out of the woodwork. All Willy can say is that there are some out there that sure need to get beat and there are a few that can stay around.

Just to prove that Willy is not totally Republican Governor Bebee is one that Willy likes. One that Willy would like to see gone and Willy will campaign against is Blanche Lincoln.

She is a has been - wishy washy person.

Willy Can See Clearly Now with Zenni Optical!

Willy can see clearly now the rain is gone - it is going to be a bright sun shiny day! Well, that is kind of how the song goes isn't it? The question is it because the rain is gone or because Willy may be getting some new eyeglasses

Willy believes it is because Willy has found a way to get some great new eyeglasses at relative inexpensive prices.
