Cowboy Willy

Willy started a new blog a while back just for fun and is just now deciding to promote it a little and see how it goes.  Willy is dedicating this blog to simple quips, sayings, quotes, short jokes and in short simplicity.

The thing that Willy will try to do is to refrain from posting long posts advertising for others.  Willy will have some google ads and some links to others in his quips, and quotes but will not be so abrupt as it is in his other blogs.

So if you want to get a tidbit of information, fun, quote or quip Willy is going to try to provide that about three times a week.  If you have good info on your site Willy might steal some of these occasionally.  If Willy does this you will also find a link back to your website on Willys links page.

Come join him by clicking on the Cowboy Willy link here or the picture on the top right.  While you are there if you were to click on the ad that shows it would not hurt Willy's feelings because contrary to popular opinion, Willy trys to at least make enough money from blogging to pay for his habits.

Willy uses his HDMI Cables

Willy likes sports.  One of the things Willy really likes is watching sports on his big flat screen HD television.  Wow, the colors are explicit and the details are fantastic.  Willy can see the sweat bead up on the players heads just as if Willy was there.  Wait a minute.  There is a problem sometimes.  Willy has all of these great HDMI cables connecting all of this great electronics together to get a great picture of the game but the game is not coming on TV.

Where can Willy find the game.  Well it is on Willy's laptop computer at ESPN3.  Willy gets a great picture there but it is real inconvenient to watch on that laptop screen and Willy would really like to see this on the big screen TV.  How can this happen?  Well, Willy's laptop has a HDMI connector and Willy can hook this right up to the television and use this as a HDMI extender.  How great is that.  If Willy can find the feed on his computer he can watch it on his TV.

All Willy can say about that is a great big 10-4.

Burial Insurance!

Willy likes to cook and you can see some of his recipes over at Cooking it Up With Hillbilly Willy
You can also see what else might be cooking over at his site.  One of the things that Willy always hopes is that no one will ever need funeral insurance because of Willy's cooking.  If they do need this final expense insurance from this great food it will be because they over ate and not because the food was bad.

All joking aside my family is having to review and deal with burial insurance quotes for seniors as we deal with aging parents.  This is not a fun subject but a person has to take it as best he can so that it does not become overwhelming.  One of the things in this area that we are looking at is who the best carriers for this might be and one that keeps coming to the top is MetLife.  They appear to lead the pack in this type of insurance.

So if you are dealing with these subjects and if you are looking to take care of this type of situation for yourself or others.  Keep your chin up and successful results will come.

The car pictured in this note is a Mercedes Maybach..
Notice the ‘recliner’ rear seats and the electrostatic’ sunroof.

The sunroof turns from opaque to crystal clear depending on the passengers preference.

Mr President - India Creates Jobs for Americans?

The President is spending billions of dollars to shake hands and look good in India.

WHY! HE SAYS IT WILL CREATE JOBS IN AMERICA!

What can they help us do-

  •  learn to answer a help line - and put you on hold with a recording saying our call is important.
  • Teach us to speak in a very broken English so that no one can understand what we are saying
  • Teach us to answer a help line and make the person on the other end ticked off.
  • Teach us to herd water buffaloe
  • Teach us to wrap turbines on our head
  • Teach us to lure their President to the US and spend Billions of Dollars - this might be it.
COME ON MR. PRESIDENT - YOU CAN HELP THE US BY STAYING HOME AND SPENDING THOSE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS THAT ARE SPENT ON YOUR TRIP GOING TO UNEMPLOYMENT OR TO COMPANIES TO BUILD JOBS.   - YOU ARE A JOKE MR. PRESIDENT - BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA!

L earn from your elders

It must have been a slow day at someones office today.  Willy received a lot of funny stories today.  Thought this was good enough to post.  10-4 Willy
--------------------------------

A lawyer and a senior citizen are sitting next to each other on a long flight.  The lawyer is thinking that seniors are so dumb that he could get one over on them easy.  So the lawyer asks if the senior would like to play a fun game.

The senior is tired and just wants to take a nap, so he politely declines and tries to catch a few winks.

The lawyer persists, saying that the game is a lot of fun. I ask you a question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me only $5. Then you ask me one, and if I don't know the answer, I will pay you $500, he says.

This catches the senior's attention and, to keep the lawyer quiet, he agrees to play the game.

The lawyer asks the first question. 'What's the distance from the Earth to the Moon?'

The senior doesn't say a word, but reaches into his pocket, pulls out a five-dollar bill, and hands it to the lawyer.
Now it's the senior's turn. He asks the lawyer, 'What goes up a hill with three legs, and comes down with four?'

The lawyer uses his laptop and searches all references he can find on the Net.  He sends e-mails to all the smart friends he knows; all to no avail. After an hour of searching, he finally gives up.

He wakes the senior and hands him $500. The senior pockets the $500 and goes right back to sleep.

The lawyer is going nuts not knowing the answer. He wakes the senior up and asks, 'Well, so what goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four?'
The senior reaches into his pocket, hands the lawyer $5, and goes back to sleep.
