The ANT
AND THE
GRASSHOPPER 
This one is a little different ...... 
Two Different Versions ..... 
Two Different Morals

OLD VERSION: 

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and 
laying up supplies for the winter. 

The grasshopper  thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. 
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed. 
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, 
so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE OLD STORY:

Be responsible for yourself!




MODERN VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long, building his house
and laying up supplies for the winter. 

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. 

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving. 

CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC 
show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant  in his comfortable home with 
a table filled with food.
America is stunned by the sharp contrast. 

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is 
allowed to suffer so? 

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah
with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green..'

ACORN stages   a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, We shall overcome.

Then Rev. Jeremiah Wright 
has the group kneel down to pray for the grasshopper's sake. 

President Obama condemns the ant 
and blames  President Bush, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the grasshopper's plight. 

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has
gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, 
and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share. 

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act
retroactive to the beginning of the summer. 

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, 
having nothing left to pay his retroactive 
taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government  Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loadingfriends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it. 

The ant has  disappeared in the snow, 
never to be seen again.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over   by a gang of spiders who terrorize and ramshackle, the once prosperous and peaceful, neighborhood. 

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest 
of the free world with it.

Willy Has Age Spots - Murad fixes Problem? News at 11.

Here you go.  This is a new one for Willy.  Willy is going to talk about products for the skin.  Willy should be an expert in this because Willy has now had skin for almost 60 years.  That should make Willy an expert shouldn't it. 

Well, Willy is going to first mention that there are needs for excellent Skin Care Products .  Everyone should know that and everyone should know that they can study this wonderful world wide web to find out about the great products that are available.  Next Willy is going to talk about Acne Products .  Willy had acne one time and Willy bets that there are people out there that need this type of product.  To find out just look in the mirror.  It is generally something used by youth but Willy has found that older people might need it to.  The third and last thing that Willy is going to talk about is  Age Spots .  Well, Willy looked in the mirror and Willy really does need help in this.  At age 60 and having spent a little time out in the sun, Willy does have a spot or two.

Well, Willy is at least an expert on two out of the three at his age.  Willy will let you guess which two that Willy might have need of at this time.  Willy just says that if you are in need of these products, then get online and click one of the links on this site and find out what you need.   Willy might just do this himself.

Obama or Bush - Willy wants to Know!

Sitting together on a train was Obama, George Bush Jr., a little old
lady, and a young blonde girl with large breasts.

The train goes into a dark tunnel and a few seconds later there is
the sound of a loud slap. When the train emerges from the tunnel,
Obama has a bright red hand print on his cheek. No one speaks.

The old lady thinks: "Obama must have groped the blonde in the dark,
and she slapped him."

The blonde girl thinks: "Obama must have tried to grope me in the
dark, but missed and fondled the old lady and she slapped him."

Obama thinks: "Bush must have groped the blonde in the dark. She
tried to slap him but missed and got me instead."

George Bush thinks: "I can't wait for another tunnel, so I can smack
Obama again"

Willy likes Mountain State Parks

Willy thinks everyone should come to Arkansas. It is one of the prettiest places in the country. The Traveling Bells could make it here, or maybe Comedy Plus could float her boat here. Or Empress Bee could just come on over.

Willy and the Extremes

Saturday Morning Willy went fishing on a great trout stream in Arkansas.  The Little Red River is great for trout and has had some of the trophy catches taken from its waters.  The weather, though hot well above the stream up in the closest town at about 90 degrees, the river was at about 75 and the water was at 55 degrees.  A low fog hovered over the river almost masking the many fishermen that were enjoying the waters and the fishing.





Sunday, Willy was relaxing at home and not really concerned about the weather outside and then Willy walked out and felt the steam oven that we call Arkansas Summer.   Walked back in and the temperature was almost 106.  The extremes are amazing.  The river nice and cool probably even in the middle of the day and the rest of Arkansas extremely hot.  

Willy and QR Codes - Where is Willy

Willy is trying to incorporate some different technology into his website.  Willy is learning about QR Codes and trying to figure out what Willy can do with these codes on the web and in real life to help Willy do things better and bring information to people.  Willy is finding these codes used more often.  Willy has found these used by realtors on listings and on business cards  by internet savvy business men. 

Willy wants to know if any of his readers are familar with this technology.  It has to do with smart phones and other things like that.
