Willy Likes Arkansas

Some of Willy's readers(both of them) Have asked what are some of the great sites in Arkansas..Willy copied this from one of his other blogs along with some of Willy's original pictures.  Just one of the many things to see in Arkansas.

If you live anywhere close to Petit Jean Mountain and you have not been there then you are missing a beautiful place.  I just spent a couple of days there at the Winrock Institute but also went to Petit Jean State Park.  Here are some of the pictures that I took.

A plaque discussing the River and the Mountain and its affect on the area.  This is at the overlook of the River Valley

The Arkansas River from the Overlook.  This picture does not do justice to the view and the amount of the country that you can see.  This is simply amazing.

The rest of the Valley from the overlook.  It is almost as you are on top of the world.

Winthrop Rockefeller Institute.  A very nice conference center on top of the Mountain.  This was a time lapse picture taken after dark.  This was originally a large working cattle ranch.  The place is very nice.

Some of the Water features around the Rockfeller Institute.  These are very nice.  This is a time lapse at night of the feature.

California is a beautiful place too, but a bunch of kooks are running it into the ground. Just like Washington D.C. Just saying.

Have a terrific day. :)

We are blessed by having a beautiful country, that is for sure. Too bad the politicians are ruining it for us:(

Have a great day...
