I don't know whether or not Obama meant it, but I would have meant it, and then I would have acknowledged Gov Palin's excessive pork-barrel projects during her tenure as governor and mayor. If it's got that much pork, Willy, then you got to call it a pig.
It is probly that he was trying to bait his oponet,or it is just part of the cock and bull story that come with runnig for the presidentcy evey 4 years.

Making this out to be such a big ordeal in the media is just another well played attempt by the republican party to divert the attention of the american people and get them to focus on ANYTHING other than the issues at hand...Or better yet, their lack of anything substantial to offer about the issues at hand other than "Washingtons broke and we maverics are gonna fix it" HOGWASH! OOPS! There I go again!
Since they have been campaigning, all I have heard them do is repeat the same old, one line, zingers that they threw out at the republican convention over and over again...Can't they do any better than that??? Come on!!! Let's hear something a little more substantial than "they're just a couple of maverics that are gonna change up Washington"! PULEEZE!
As a former republican strategist, it was my duty to stretch things and make them believable. Even a master such as myself couldn't make this one fly.
Even if Obama thought it, and wanted to say it in reference to Palin, he wouldn't. He's not stupid. Not when the women voters will be one of about 4 groups that swing this election.
The goofs spreading this story need to go back to the story about him removing the flag off the plane. At least that was a true story (even though he was following the law, it is TRUE. Just not for the reason the neocons say).
