Willy has got to Move On!

Well lots of guesses and some came close to where Willy is at. Willy is not good at this game. Willy either gives to easy clues or he gives clues that to others make no sense.

Well Willy was in Montana, The Big Sky country, just a short ways from Yellow Stone National Park.

Yes Willy was up a Granite Mountain near Phillipsburg, Montana. Read more about it and find out a little bit of history.

------------------

Four miles up Granite Mountain, southeast of Phillipsburg, Montana was one of the largest silver mining camps in Montana. Nicknamed “Montana’s Silver Queen,” the town once boasted more than 3,000 residents.

Silver was first discovered by a man named Eli Holland in 1875, and though a small shaft was dug, little work progressed at the claim. However, that changed in 1880 when Charles D. McLure, superintendent of the Hope Mill in Philipsburg, found a rich specimen of ruby silver at the site, which assayed at 2,000 ounces of silver per ton.

I worked on this one for a very long time Willy. I never even got close to Montana. Your clues were very, very hard on this one.

Perhaps we will do better the next time you travel. I sure hope so.

Have a terrific day Willy. :)

Well, Big Sky, Montana, was one of my several guesses. But I couldn't narrow it down to that, based on the other clues.

My very first thought was Montana. it looks just like Montana.

But, sherry had already guessed there anyway so she wins.

I should have stayed with my first inclination.

These are fun....I wish I could get here every Sunday when they first go up.

Keep em comin' willy!!:-)))
