Your appalling interview with Frank Wutrich

Dear Mr. Pelley and the 60 minutes crew

I am appalled at the interview that I have just viewed that Scott Pelley had with Frank Wutrich about the killing of 24 Iraqi civilians in Haditha, Iraq.

We ask a 25 year old to go into a hostile environment. He is engaged by hostile people. He is frightened as anyone 25 years old or 60 years old would be. He is trying to find out where hostile fire is coming from.

Did you really expect him to go into the house, and ask "Is there anyone here wanting to shoot at me or blow me up."

No, I expect a scared 25 year old or 60 year old to go into the house with full force, hoping that the only ones killed are truly hostile. My belief is that if he had entered the house asking questions first, he and the rest of his troops would be just like the other 3200 soldiers who have been killed in Iraq and whom you say little about.

Remember, we are dealing with people who will strap bombs on women and children and blow up themselves to kill a few Americans.

Mr. Pelley, lets put you in his shoes. Let's ask you to ask first if there are any hostile people in the house from which you believe rounds were being fired.

Yes, Mr. Pelley - if that were to happen. You probably would not be here to ask such rediculous questions with such a smug attitude.

This type of attitude makes my blood curdle. It is this type of attitude by Americans that keeps us from going into Iraq and winning a war.

AMEN.... second guessing and micro managing a war is the status quo these days, we might as well disband the military because according to those on the left, there is no good reason to fight....

I am pissed beyond belief after the anti-American parade through DC.
Freedom of speech is what they use, they forget to use the common sense and responsibility traits they should have been born with.
