Willamette Valley Attractions

Willy Cyber Travels to El Paso Texas

Willy says as usual that Mind of a Mom is right again on first guess. Willy is in El Paso, Texas.

El Paso stands on the Rio Grande (Río Bravo del Norte), across the border from Ciudad Juárez. The image to the right, showing Downtown El Paso and Juárez, with the Juárez Mountains in the background, shows how the cities are conjoined. The two cities (Juárez was formerly El Paso del Norte, the Pass to the North) form a combined Metropolitan Area with a combined population of 2,049,648, with Juárez accounting for 2/3 of the Metro population.[8]

El Paso is home to the University of Texas at El Paso (founded in 1914 as The Texas State School of Mines and Metallurgy). Fort Bliss, a major United States Army installation, lies to the east and northeast of the city, extending north up to the White Sands Missile Range. The Franklin Mountains extend into El Paso from the north and nearly divide the city into two sections.

Willy is off to cyber travel this week. During the week Willy will take in some of the finer things and get "the pass" to the local theatre.

If Willy has to stay until March 1, Willy might take in the Marathon.

Willy needs to catch up on his travels.

Willy's intent is to give a little info after someone finds him on his travels.

Willy has fallen behind on this and hopes to catch up. Maybe tomorrow.

In the mean time it looks like Willy has lost "Mind of a Mom" Was not Willy's intent.

Willy works on his looks!

Willy has been trying for a while to do some changes to his blogger look but has been unsuccessful up to now. However, today Willy widened it out a bit without too much trouble.

Filched panties found; foster father arrested

 

ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE

 

   CABOT — The Lonoke County sheriff's office seized nearly 200 pairs of women's undergarments after catching a man they said has been pilfering panties, mostly from neighbors' homes.
   Authorities arrested Michael Connelly, 33, early Saturday morning after they said he broke into a home on Sunnyvale Road in Lonoke County to steal underwear.
   A resident reported chasing Connelly after discovering the intrusion and detained him until sheriff's deputies responded. When deputies arrived, they found underwear in the yard they said Connelly had stolen.
   Lt. Jim Kulesa with the Lonoke County sheriff's office said Connelly, who was wearing a pair of women's underwear when he was arrested, allowed authorities to search his home. That's when they discovered 188 pairs of panties, a couple of sports bras and children's shorts, Kulesa said.
   A resident told neighbors about the panty snatching, which prompted several women to go to the sheriff's office to identify missing undergarments. None of the women wanted the items back, Kulesa said.
   The theft charge will be a misdemeanor "unless they're designer shorts, I guess," Kulesa said, noting more charges are pending.
   Connelly has no prior criminal history, Kulesa said, and he and his wife have been foster parents.
   He said the couple were not caring for any foster children at the time when the underwear was seized. A Department of Human Services spokesman said that when criminal charges are levied against a parent, the state deems their home ineligible for children until the case can be evaluated.
   Connelly was free Monday on $8,000 bond

OK mom, Willy believes you are pretty sharp. Willy was enjoying the casino's in Laughlin Nevada. Many call it a little Las Vegas but say they enjoy it more because it has less hype.

Well Willy has to stay home sometimes and what better way to spend time at home than to have a movie night.

This leads to the fact of what new movies are out there that Willy might like. This movie All Roads Lead Home The Movie - keeps popping up in front of Willy. So willy has decided to check it out and see if it is one that Willy or the 3 people that read Willy's blog might be interested in.

Well to do that Willy is showing to everyone this trailer that looks interesting about this movie.

So if you are like Willy and do things on movie night such as pop some popcorn then order in some pizza, then add this movie to the great traditions and find that you can plan a great movie night around this movie.

Yes, this is a movie with a message and Willy thinks that it is important to get something worth while out of a movie. With that in mind, Willy believes that everything he sees in this movie makes it a good one with a great purpose.

Take Willy Travelling

OK Willy has thought about this and is going to try again with an idea.

Willy is poor and knows that the only way he is going to get to see America is to travel by Cyber travel or allow others to beam him down to their printers and take Willy for a ride.

Willy would like to see every state in the United States but does not want to limit it to that.

So here is what Willy proposes to get to this travel thing.

1. Right mouse Click on the Travelling Willy Picture on the Top Right sidebar.

3. Print image - if this method does not work for you - figure it out - Willy aint to good on computer instructions.
4. This should give you an 8 X10 beautiful "hazey" picture of Travelling Willy
5. Take this picture outside or wherever you want to go.
6. Hold the picture up in front of something that might be recognizable and take a picture.
7. Post this picture on your website and post a comment on Willy's website how to get to it.
8. Willy will make a link - copy or do something to get people to see it.
9. You can either tell where it is at or you can give clues and let people guess.

Willy and Martha's Vinyard

Well, Speedcat Hollydale - Willy can only go to Hollydale in his mind since Willy can't even figure out how to cyber travel to Hollydale.

But for those who care Willy had Cyber Traveled to Martha's Vinyard and the specific picture was in Edgartown on Martha's Vinyard.

The picture is a tribute to Mellville and Moby Dick. For the record of guessing "The Mind of a Mom" was really the first correct guesser. Sherry danced all around it and then Dickster1961 jumped in and nailed the exact town of Edgartown.

What is excellent about this picture is that Willy actually real traveled there with Mrs Willy and took this picture himself. This is right behind the hotel where Willy stayed. The visit to the New England was excellent and may be the adventure in a different area for Willy next year.
