Willy is some place where Carols are sung. Where the carol sound will really ring and vibrate.
Willy knows this is not Christmas but Willy would rather be fishing on the River and if it is Christmas time the area and the river would be white. Other times you might be singing about the grass being blue.
Where is Willy today except confused.
One place that Willy is not at today is a Sandels Resort . Not because Willy doesn't want to be but just because he is not.

Christmas river???
I believe you're in Kentucky, perhaps around Louisville??? Perhaps the area between Lexington & Louisville, known as the Bluegrass area? The Bluegrass area is bordered by the Ohio River.
