Willy notices that his sidebar on Hillbilly Willyt loads very slowly most of the time. Is this just on Willy's computer or everyone else.
Willy hates going to someone's Blog that loads slowly. Willy wants his blog to load fast.
Can someone with real tech -nology tell Willy what to do to get his site to load faster.
Help.

Yes, it loaded slowly. In fact, I was getting to comment that it had disappeared completely - no sidebar at all. Then it started appearing - slowly.
Not being a techie, I can't offer any advice, though. Sorry.

Hiya Willy. Your sidebar loaded OK for me. I checked using the Firefox and Opera browsers, and it worked OK (but I also have a very fast computer).
It may be something in your footer, like the itk.socialspark code. I noticed that this code was making a lot of blogs hang and hang. Sometimes it resolves itself. I'll be sure to keep an eye on it whenever I visit.

It loaded fairly okay for me and I am on satellite which is slower than cable.
I am not a techie but I do know what the girl who designed my site said.
She wanted me to remove almost every widget on my sidebar to make my site load faster.
I love my widgets so I load slow.
I strolled down and noticed that you have a ton of link list and various widgets all over your sidebar.
Do you really need all of these? Also I am having trouble currently with all sites that are using Adgitize Me. Every single one loads incredibly slow for me.
I download at 100 and adgetize takes forever.
So maybe you could go through and remove some of things on your side bar.
It's hard to do though!!

Sometimes it doesn't load at all.
